New product launches for automotive electronics
UE Transistor Plant has recently unveiled new developments in the field of automotive electronics. The novelties include the KD2141A-5 and KD2146A-5 rectifiers, the KT8304 and KTD8303 transistors, and also the IL497 electronic ignition controller for breakless ignition systems using Hall-effect sensors.
The KD2141A-5 (5А, 200V, with cathode terminal on the planar die side) and KD2146A-5 (1А, 200V, with anode terminal on the planar die side) rectifiers are designed for applications in the voltage regulators of automotive alternators and in other microassemblies of the automotive electronics.
The KT8304 is a NPN epitaxial planar transistor with an integrated damping diode. The KTD8303 is a composite Darlington transistor with integrated resistors and a damping diode. Both semiconductor devices are designed to be used in the key networks, amplifiers, voltage regulators, and other electronic equipment for wide enough applications.
The KTD8303 and KT8304 are provided both in a plastic through-hole TO-220 package, and in a D2PAK package for surface mount. The transistors are also available for supply in form of chips without chip carrier and leads, and packed in waffle trays.
Key features of the transistors
• operating temperature range - 45 to +125 ºC
• high gain factors
• high reverse currents
• reverse voltage surge protection
